From HSLDA: Our third update on the WISDOM/Trinity decision in Alberta

The judge ruled in favour of WISDOM/Trinity and gave a temporary injunction, meaning that WISDOM/Trinity is allowed to continue operating as normal, except without receiving any further funding from the government, until the next court date set for January 5, 2017. Wisdom continues to demonstrate its integrity and commitment to home education by operating with severely limited funding.

This means that families can continue homeschooling as normal without needing to re-notify anywhere. HSLDA is continuing in discussion with AHEA and other pertinent parties to ensure that homeschooling families in Alberta have the information, support, and options that they need.

Come out to the ARCHE BBQ at Evraz Park & Pool on August 30th between 5:00 and 8:00 PM. The pool and park will all be open to the public, so we’ll get there early to put some coals in the BBQ pit, so families can grill their food when they arrive (feel free to pack a picnic if you’d prefer). The pool and facilities (like the big slide) will be open until 7:00 PM.
