10:15-10:45 Spelling bee or math facts challenge and memorization.
10:45 – 11:15 Students will study Do Hard Things: Start Here by Brett and Alex Harris. Description:”You want to do hard things. But you don’t know where to start. You are changing the world around you, but you are tired and burned out. You feel called to do the extraordinary for God, but you feel stuck in the ordinary. Are you ready to take the next step and blast past mediocrity for the glory of God? START HERE.” Students will receive their own copy of the book and read at home. Each week we’ll discuss how to do hard things in their life right now, and teens will develop a plan to practically see it through. Whether it’s a ministry, business idea, media project, and a list of simple tasks to add value to others, everyone will benefit from this step by step plan to achieve God’s plan for their life. For the assignment portion of Leadership Class, students will utilize Google Classrooms and engage in group discussion and the sharing of ministry and business ideas as they work on their own plan. *Although Level Up Leadership has always been from a Christian worldview, this session the material is very Christian focused on living our lives for the glory of God.
