Message forwarded for pro-life learning opportunity on August 1. RSVP requested by July 30.
We would like to invite you to join us in an opportunity to learn more about Pro-Life Apologetics and Activism.
CCBR, Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform, will be providing an opportunity for people 15 years of age and older to participate in a half day information session regarding the abortion situation in Canada. They will be informing us on the current abortion situation in Canada, how we got here, and how CCBR, together with it’s affiliates, are working to transform public opinion on the issue of abortion. They will also be teaching us pro-life conversation skills and apologetics. Late Friday afternoon there may also be opportunity for us to go with the CCBR Team and observe them doing door knocking. Door knocking is simply going to a neighborhood and knocking on doors asking people what there thoughts are on abortion and having conversations about the topic. You may look up CCBR online at endthekilling.ca.
This past weekend my second eldest daughter gave birth to a precious baby girl. Our families hearts overflow with joy and love for this little one. As I held my new granddaughter just minutes after she was born, I marvelled at how precious, and vulnerable her life is. I could not help but be deeply troubled that in Canada just minutes earlier this little person had no human rights and could have been aborted (killed), if a woman so chose to do. Canada is considered one of the best countries in the world to live, but I would have to say not for the person (baby) who is still growing in the womb. It seems hard to believe Canada is willing to let this go on.
We hope that you will join us in learning more about this issue and defending the right to life for the unborn. .
