A few notes about ARCHE membership.
ARCHE has no Employees
ARCHE is a parent association – Homeschool parents organize the events, and homeschool parents volunteer to run the events. There is no one getting paid to run ARCHE or to organize the events. If you don’t see an activity that sounds interesting to you, please consider organizing something and inviting the rest of ARCHE to join you.
ARCHE members help
ARCHE members are encouraged to view their membership as an opportunity to serve others. We are to serve rather than to be served. We are to prefer giving over receiving.
ARCHE makes no profit
The small fee goes to covering the website and email costs. Anything left over is used as a contingency in case an event has a cost overrun (when a parent takes the time to organize an event, and something unforeseen happens, they shouldn’t have to pay financially).
Okay, I understand. How do I fill out this form?
Membership Information
This section should be pretty self-explanatory
Homeschool Information
Please say something about your family, your children, and your approach to homeschooling.
ARCHE publishes a directory of members each year. ARCHE is a cooperative movement, so the directory is a valuable resource in finding help, encouragement, and arranging social activities to connecting with some really neat families.
ARCHE does not provide the directory or information with anyone who does not agree to also share their information with the rest of the membership. Only ARCHE members can be added to the directory, and ARCHE will only send a directory to ARCHE members.
Email Preferences
In the future, you will be able to subscribe based on your interest. For now, please select the events or activities you wish to be notified about.
By becoming a member, you agree to receive email communication from ARCHE.
